LAKELAND
Although Lakeland is actually quite large and spread out, compared to the other cities/towns in this southern Polk County area, it still manages to retain some of that small hometown community feel, where people are friendly and know how to enjoy the rural peace and quiet, which Lakeland still offers.

WINTER HAVEN
Right next to Auburndale lies Winter Haven. Its claim to fame is home of Cypress Gardens, Florida's oldest theme park and recently renovated and updated by its new owners. Winter Haven is a large sprawling city on a chain of lakes and like its neighbor, Auburndale, it boasts beautiful houses on large lots, many of which hug the shores of the numerous lakes. The city is home to many famous retail names such as Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, Bealls and many more as well as famous restaurant chains and fast food outlets. Winter Haven is a much more bustling and busier city than Auburndale and is easily accessible from US 27 South.

BARTOW
Bartow is the county seat of Polk County, where all the government offices are located. This historic city has a wonderful atmosphere and is quite a pleasant surprise!
